The amount of weight allowed with steerable lift axles can be found in a document referred to as “Extra Legal Weight, Charts “Orange, Green or Purple”. https://dot.ca.gov/programs/traffic-operations/transportation-permits/weight

California does not recognize a pusher, but when two Air Ride Suspension drive axles are coupled with a lift axle and the spacing of all three is equal, they have a Tridem Bonus application. This is a permitted load, not part of Federal Bridge.
The Purple Chart documents the lift and drive axles regulations and all these axles require 4 tires per axle to qualify for the bonus weight. Given that, my evaluation is below.
Steerable lifts with wide base tires and 54” axle spacing:
straight weight ground load of 51,450
Dual mounting with 54” spacing between all axles:
bonus (additional 7,718) 59,168 lbs. total
Steerable lifts with wide base tires and 60” axle spacing:
straight weight ground load of 52,500
Dual mounting with 60” spacing between all axles:
bonus (additional 7,875) 60,375 lbs. total
See the two documents for details, it is more complicated that I’ve noted above.
And now.....
Believe It OR Not
No species of wild plant produces a flower or blossom that is absolutely black, and so far none has been developed artificially.
