Antilock Brake System (ABS) Sensor

Notice the circled area in the photo? This is where the magnetic pickup contacts the exciter ring for ABS.  If the ABS light is illuminated on the dash (and you have ruled out a blown fuse), correction could be as easy as pushing the sensor outboard and against the exciter ring.


If the chassis is equipped with 6S/6M, then push on the sensor for all six wheel ends and it could remedy the light on the dash issue.   

Tip: On tandem drives with 4 sensors (4S/4M of 4S/6M) two sensors will be on the steer axle and the other two are typically on the rear drive axle outer ends.
